I am really surprised that they do not make them with a) or b) in the title, like: "Nightmare on Elm street" part 32-A (2024 year) with a promise from producers that "Nightmare on Elm street" part 32-B will came in January 2035. I am sure that this is going to happen... because I...

Shame about "Rogue". It had all ingridiants to be a good movie for Sunday afternoon but they cooked it all wrong. Plus, I do not like when they manipulate audience with a dog in a story.

And as you said it, do not expect to much, I agree with that. :D

True, still, the main thing is how kids were playing among them and the natural feeling of the group. "Friday" TWO had nice group (for a movie of thet kind, that is) but Amy Steel from the first moment, when she got out of the car, did not belong to a group of others. I could see that she ...

I agree with you about the "Hatchet", but I donot agree about the "Scream". That movie did not mean anything to me, considering the horror genre (have not seen 2 and 3), just because I could never put Wes Craven in director's chair. I have not seen a single movie from him that di...

I was never been able to type and listen to some music! I would feel that it is some kind of degradation of the music, to put it in the second place. So, with me, it is, eather the music or just typing or doing the folding of clothing or staring into the wall and wondering: "Was that wall furth...

I am finishing "The Mantle of the Prophet" by Joseph Frank, a fifth and the last book about Dostoevsky. It was a long journey for me, more than a 2000 pages long history of a writer and his work, but I can not imagen Frank's journey from 1969 till 2002... such a long period of time to writ...

Horror films 1980-1984 - Revisited

Is anyone in the mood to talk about the movies from that golden period of horror? I am about to watch "Just before dawn" from 1981, so soon I will say more about it here and about "Happy birthday to me", also. But... It would be great to talk about them from todays point of view,...

He should be baned from work... unless I miss the point of the movie thinking that is a movie insted a film for children cirka 8-11 years old with an intention of showing the movie with UNICEF all over.

Nice idea. That girl, assistant, that became sick in the second part of the movie has a profile of someone who have never been to some war zone, as she was based on a script, so a group of us could never belive that she was there. That actress looks like, at least to me, that the worst thing that sh...

1. Coming Soon (Japan) - Not good. 2. Hansel and Gretel (South Korea) - Beautiful movie, art work, actors, story, direction, everything on place. 3. Vinyan (French for Americans) - Waste of time! After "Ordeal" this? Shame. 4. Abandoned (Russian-USA) - Interesting, not great, but I did not...

Since Video Dead, and it was in 1987, I have never seen such stupid, yes, litteraly stupid, movie that made me think about my time spending with that kind of movies movies insted of doing something else, like, doing the cleaning of my garage, bathroom, garden... It was such a waste of time that I wa...
