Re: Cannibal Holocaust - Shameless Blu Ray
The standard DVD has two discs, one version on each. The blu-ray has them both on the single disc. One version is "animal cruelty free", and the other has all animals scenes in apart from one. The nice thing about that edit, is that they left the sound in, and just cut to some other images...

Re: Cannibal Holocaust - Shameless Blu Ray
Thanks.
Bought, and watched it.
It was uncut, apart from a few seconds. It's the most recent version passed by BBFC.

Cannibal Holocaust - Shameless Blu Ray
Hi everyone, I'm reading conflicting reports about how cut the Shameless blu ray edition of Cannibal Holocaust is. As far as I can work out, the two DVD set features a fairly heavily cut version, and a version with only 14 seconds worth of cuts. Is this right? It's difficult to tell, because Amazon ...

Festival Guides
Dear all,
In previous years, guides were available for the festival. These booklets had brief introductions to each film, and a schedule.
Are they available / going to be available this year?

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
FrightFesters, I don't know what to say here really. Alan, Paul, Greg and myself are livid that so many of you had such a horrible experience trying to get tickets and in some cases missed out. After a fabulous start with the staff at the cinema cleareing the Sleeply Q in record time, so quickly in...

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
I'm not gonna risk even booking TBH.
This is frustrating enough - waiting in a queue on Monday for an hour and a half to see if they've even given me a ticket for my money is really not worth it.
Really, really sad and disappointed.

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
I'm guessing it was for a single day pass?jonbly wrote:On the third time the website showed me a seating plan (rather than just an error), it accepted payment. Confirmation email received.BristolHorror wrote:What exactly did you manage, and how?jonbly wrote:Victory!
So I've paid either £170, £340 or £510 and got one ticket.

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
Yeah - it's not seriously high volume though. It's not like millions of people are attempting to use it...
It's just poor planning (on behalf of Vue - obviously not FF).

Re: How Film4 FrightFest will work in 2014
Really, really annoyed. Just spoken to Vue cinemas (and, after a 20 minute wait - paid £2 for the privilege). The girl I spoke with told me that they were told LAST NIGHT that they would 'physically not be able to book tickets" for Frightfest over the phone. When I asked why they didn't, at lea...
