Nightmare on elm st is my fave film of any genre bt then I'm an 80s child so I love all the old slasher movies. It's only really the last few years I've learnt to appreciated giallo and such. The Innocents is on film 4 tonight so I'm going to give that a go as I think that's classed as a classic.
You think darkness is your ally but you have merely adopted the dark, i was born in it!!

On thursday a traded in a ton of unwanted cds at CEX and got Defendor, Super, Hobo With A Shotgun, Rubber and the Watchman Motion Comic.
And yesterday I went on amazon and went on a mini used dvd buying frenzy and got lost boys 1, 2 & 3 (I know 2 is cheesy but I really want to see the third one and drool over Corey again), Gory Gory Hallelujah (which looks mental), the devils backbone, the shining, from dusk till dawn, teeth and pans labyrinth.
Some I've seen before, some I haven't. Looking forward to it!
When I returned from the fest the October Release List was waiting for me, and it's packed full of Frightfest 2010 goodness, but also includes The Woman- that was pretty swift!
I'm going to have trouble avoiding a horror overspend this month- besides, who cares about The Green Lantern?
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum
Have been too busy watching movies to complete a 365 movies in 2011 challenge to list the stuff I've bought recently. Will have to have a look soon (only about 8 movies left to watch to hit the target ) and will post a list.

Bought "STAGE FRIGHT" the other day, the 80's slasher not the Hitchcock thriller...
Pretty enjoyable and very good quality- looks like it was shot yesterday. If not for the cracking 80's soundtrack. Apparently the director was a buddy of Argento's.
Well worth a watch..
Picked up Saint in Sainsbury's for 7.99 today, can't wait to finally see the whole film after having to walk out of it at frightfest due to 'health issues' haha.

At the local Cex store I recently purchased Altered, Hell Night and Poltergeist 2.
Altered is hilariously bad, it was great until I saw the 'Monster'. Hell Night, I believe this to be an exhibition for Linda Blairs ample bosom. Poltergeist 2, I know this movie gets a lot of slack, but I've always found the character of Kain to be extremely frightening.
