Worked my way through all 7 episodes of Generation Kill in the past couple of days, not too everyones cup of tea, following a unit of marines in the early stages of the war in 2003,but well worth watching for fans of jarhead full metal jacket,or readers of dispatches.

Really enjoying it too, never thought the tension of ebay could be transferred to the small screen but i was on the edge of my seat last week. really enjoying the little horor references.

Not the biggest league of gentleman fan but gave this a try. Loved Sonia from eastenders as the "murder victim", Dawn French has been amazing and you can't go wrong with dwarf porn.

I think it's fantastic, very entertaining. I also loved the ebay jokes with the mis-spelled item and last second sniping, ive done that before ha ha.

Favourite characters are Mr Jelly and David and his mum.

I must remember to check out the web site when I get a mo'.

And yeah jesus - Dawn french is scary, you can imagine her as one of those nurses who steal real babies off the matenity ward eek!
Thanks for the ride, sir.

Dawn French is awesome. Loving David and his mum even if i have to look away because they are managing to creep the hell out of me. Looked away for both the food chewing and the tucking in scenes.

burgh! nearly vommed at the food chewing!

I don't know why but the blind man calling his home help tealeaf cracks me up everytime.

Dawn French is excellent as always. I really want them to repeat all the old French and Saunders film spoofs. The Misery one is the best.

Fingers crossed I'll be running an interview with James Moran (who's written the 3rd episode of the new Torchwood series) in the next TV blog.
First things first, stay calm.

Psychoville is slowly showing that the true ace in its sleeve is its plotting. Beyond the darkness of the characters there have been a couple of neat narrative ticks, most notably in the Mr Jelly/Jolly mix up.

The Lost season 5 finale left a lump in the throat. A double whammy of Sawyers loss and the seemingly defeatist resolution to the Locke saga.

Dexter has had an awkward 3rd season often flirting with actual boredom. Jimmy Smits was the seasons saving grace with his wild performance and dark character arch. In fact his actions gave the series its only talking point but plotwise it was brushed over in a very black and white manner.
Theres not much more life left in this concept if this is how they continue. Shame as its by far the best TV theme tune for a decade.

i just finished watching Dexter, have to agree it was very unfocused and kind of limped to an ending, only thing i really liked was the fleshing out of some of the minor characters.

Torchwood = wow. Utter brilliance, spoiled only by the reaction of some "fans" to the writers - see about James Moran's horrible experiences here
