I enjoyed the twists and turns of the plot, especially the way it played around with the time frame towards the end.

But it lacked.... something. It felt a bit TV-movie-ish at times. Perhaps it needed to up the pace a bit, or be just a little more "edgy".... Or maybe it's just one of those films which is better seen on its own, not when fatigue is setting in towards the end of a long weekend.

surprise highlight of this year's FF. I thought the beginning was really uninteresting and feeling like a tv-movie, but as the plot developed I found myself highly enjoying this one.

and one thing - first genre picture from Switzerland and one already has a dp scene - that's sick and wicked.

Unexpected highlught, one of my favourite films of the fest, knew nothing about it, but it turned out to be excellent. Combining fairytales and the lovely Swiss countryside with a very dark storyline, the turning of the guys into dolls at the end was one of the most disturbing moments of the weekend imo.

It's good but not great: I got a little lost in the timelines occasionally. But so ravishingly shot.
