There's certainly a problem that our three heroes are not particularly sympathetic people that you want to spend much time with at all, so it's hard to get that upset when the Marchese - whose house they've broken into for no reason at all - takes a dim view of their activities. I couldn't get that excited about the film. The 3D isn't necessary, though I'm coming round to the idea that it's never necessary.
