I agree. I kinda guess the same will happen with HC3. I heard yesterday that the UK release date is 19th June so that will be out of the equation

Has anyone noticed the upward trend of the films of FrightFest being already obtainable on VOD in the US? Seems to me that each year, more and more are available to view prior to the festival (10ish by my count last year).

Yeah, stuff seems to hit VOD very quickly these days.

We'll no doubt have Sinister 2 (USA release date is 21st August).

It would be fitting since Chris Cargill did attend FF last year (as a pass-holder & to announce the start of the production).

Trailer just released for 'Howl' (2015) which is directed by Paul Hyett (director of 'The Seasoning House' and part of the makeup effects team behind 'The Descent', 'The Children' and 'Eden Lake').

I'm pretty certain we will get this...shame the CG looks TERRIBLE for those shots of the train going through the forrest...awful. The trailer also blatantly rips off the 'Prometheous' trailer soundtrack towards the end too. Looks fun though and the creature effects look very good indeed.

Apparently some of the selected films for this year have been revealed at Cannes as some of the marketing materials for films showing there have featured the FrightFest laurel on them. Oops.

I wonder what they are...
