6/10 - Believability is stretched thin by having two actresses with very different looks cast as 'almost sisters'.

The mother and daughter were fine actors.
Quite a good movie in the maniacal tradition of Play Misty for Me & Fatal Attraction & The Hand that Rocks the Cradle.

An enjoyable fun ride as each devious plot unfolds. Caitlin Stasey is as watchable as ever, while I like the dynamics of the central trio - there are some good supporting characters too. 7.5. / 10
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

The dated plot borrows heavily from 1990s psychological thrillers, and in fact there a multiple plot points lifted straight out of Single White Female. This feels like it should have been a Lifetime movie of the week (although I think Lifetime would insist it be less boring), except that it's got an excellent director and actresses attached to it, but they weren't able to elevate the material.

An average film with a very good psycho.
