That was an awesome little blog by Mr Kermode, but it's a shame he missed the rest of the festival. But give him his due, a 'horror fans' only screenings during normal cinema time sounds pretty cool. :)

I had a couple of people checking their phone near me yesterday. The first time I tend to let it slip, but if they keep doing it I generally ask them to put their phone away with a quiet voice, which tends to do the job. I agree that shouting just disturbs more people's entertainment, which isn't necessary.
