Solid, but not particularly remarkable stalker thriller. Possibly didn't help that I kept thinking the "heroine" had brought this all on herself. 7.5 / 10
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

A throw back to the days of Fatal Attraction.

Quite enjoyed it but wanted it to be nastier. As it was it felt very mainstream.

Lead actor was great though.

One of the films I liked least of the festival, though I can see why some liked it - infidelity is a bit of a trigger point for me, which contributed alot.

Was well acted, but when the character that's most sympathetic is the one initially set up as a stalker... no sympathy particularly for the heroine-of-sorts who doubled as both emotionally cruel to her husband as well as unfaithful! The test results element was hugely predictable in a convenient sort of way too.

One bit that made me uncomfortable was the thrown-in inclusion of her telling him to stop - which he ignored - which was then forgotten for the rest of the film...

For me, wound up being a kind of Crimewatch version of a Jeremy Kyle episode...

Whilst Coffin Rock was well made and well acted, it never really grabbed my attention enough for me to care one way or another. Still, glad I saw it though as chances are I never would have seen it anywhere else.

I've just watched this and thought it was complete balls. Another 2009 stinker.
