The Victim
The Victim
Couldn't see this topic anywhere else - apologies if it is. Biehn was right in his intro that this wouldn't be a memorable film and unfortunately I had guessed the twist from the synopsis. The acting and story were reasonable enough for this kind of film, but neither really stood out sufficiently to make any real impression. A reasonably entertaining time-filler however. 6.5 / 10
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

Agree, I liked the Biehn intro and the film was good for what it was - a self-aware low budget grindhouse tribute to take your mind off your own life for 82 mins.
Re: The Victim
Really liked this one . Was getting worried when the director was talking about haveing no money etc . But found it really good !
Re: The Victim
Skipped Dario Q & A for this one. With a intro from Michael Biehn saying what we are expecting.
I actually enjoyed this, with the story told from a different perspective and quite a interesting ending.

It's okay: a cheap grindhouse exploitationer where, rather than botching a more ambitious movie with insufficient resources, they've produced a film with half a dozen speaking roles, one or two locations, no effects, nothing phenomenally expensive. Quite enjoyed it.
