We've just spent over 2 hours trying to decide what screen to go for for the best line up. Cross referencing disco screen films with main screen films. I think we've done it. I couldn't fit That movie Julia in though because the Friday morning is just too strong, even though It looks really interesting. Definitely be skipping out of Sin city 2 coz you can catch that at any old multiplex when it comes out so it seems like a waste to see that a frightfest. I really hope the T.B.C movies are good ones. Just hope we can get the tickets we want now. If not there is a plan B :D .

Same, it'll be out like less than a week after FF. There'll probably be a staff preview at the cinema I work at anyway. ;)

I've settled on Screen 7. Had to make some painful decisions to cut out the documentaries and I'm taking a gamble with the mystery movie on Main Screen clashing with Exists in Discovery but it's the best choice for me overall. I'll only end up missing out a couple of movies through merit of having seen some already on US VOD/DVD and a few more scheduled to come out before August.

Now comes the wait.

Can someone please update the Lineup (first post) since Sin City, Housebound and Survived ... changed slots? :)
EDIT: Would even make more sense if the person who was so nice to make a spreadsheet change the Lineup! :)

The good thing about that chart is you can see at a glance how long you have between movies, and how much time difference choosing a disco film would make. Of course, Q&A's will eat up some time, plus I'm relying on Chris to have his running times correct :green:

Are we getting one less film a day this year? There seems to be longer between films, which is welcome.

Just to confirm Morralex...
The printed festival guide definitely states that it WILL be 3D across all screens. So .... :geek:

The one thing I definitely won't miss from Empire Screen 1 was the dreadful Dolby 3D, thankfully Vue uses RealD 3D which in my opinion is far superior.

Glad you said that, nearly forgot to pack my 2D glasses...
