I can't believe this astonishing horror flick didn't make the line up of any frightfest events.

My review of the extremely unsettling new horror flick The Eyes of My Mother - http://thepeoplesmovies.com/2016/10/fil ... ther-2016/

I managed to see this last week and FUCK ME its something else.
Quite how it was so hypnotizing given the subject and setting ill never know, but what a great film.
Thanks for the tip off. I don`t think i would of ever looked at it otherwise.

We just added one of our FrightFest Gore in the Store In Conversation features with the film's director Nicolas Pesce. He discussed with Paul Risker his pursuit to cultivate a reality with his own spin on our expectations and creating a space in film for the audience to answer questions. He also reflected film as a voyeuristic art form and a desire to move away from the philosophical subject matter of his feature debut.
