Kickstarter Projects

Post by Alex J »

A couple of kickstarter projects caught my eye recently:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/la ... aft-horror

This is from Lawrie Brewster whose film The Black Gloves screened at Frightfest at the Halloween event last year. The campaign has had a great start, but with an ambitious target I'm sure he would welcome more backers.

This one is a Friday the 13th inspired film and has only a modest target, but with only 5 days to go it could do with a boost from new backers.
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

Two more projects that may be of interest, including a sequel to a film that played at Frightfest a few years ago:

Sadly the aforementioned Knucklebones sequel is struggling on kickstarter at the moment - so if anyone wants to and knows how to get it in front of more people I'm sure they'd be very appreciative of any help that can be provided.

Also came across another project that may be of interest to anyone who likes Franco, Rollin, Russell or Lovecraft, so I imagine most readers on this forum would probably fall under one or more of these categories! It is an American production, but it is to be filmed in the UK, so that may also appeal to some of us. There are a number of names involved that most of us will be familiar with too. The link to the campaign for Tearful Surrender is below:
