Frightfest Halloween date

Not sure if this has always been the case but, for as long as I've been going to the FF Halloween event, it has been held *before* Halloween. Just seems a bit weird to hold it afterwards for this year. Also, there's the added frustration that we've all had to decide between this or fireworks displays (I'd expect this might have affected ticket sales a little too).

Was there any reason for holding the Halloween event later this year and is this likely to happen again in the future? Largely I'm asking since I'd prefer not to have to choose between FFH or whether my kid gets to go to a fireworks display

At a guess, and only a guess, mind you, I'd say it was probably it being the closest Saturday to Halloween.

That said, 2018's Halloween event was on Saturday 3rd November.

Wow- yeah, you’re right. I just always remembered it as being before

Just wish it didn’t clash with the fireworks I guess
