Although the plot was a hokey one, dorothy for me was the best of the lot. It's up there with the 'wickerman' and 'don't look now' for the stunning scenery and the bleakness of it. It didn't need suspense, it just was...

Liked this one a lot. Definately a Wicker Man feel to it and some amazing performances from the central actors.

Great film. Think it has cult potential. The girl who played Dorothy was friggin brilliant!

The girl who played her will be giving me bloody nightmares!!

Great film and one that I would maybe suggest my other half watches, due to the fact it's not jump out at you style scary but it's very dark, forboding and menacing at times.

It also shows that bad acts by people will always come back to haunt you, in this case quite literally!

the big surprise of the weekend for me, i thought this could have dragged a bit and been a bit rubbish.

main 2 actresses were amazing and i would probably go see it again. loved the idea that the 'ghosts' were mirroring their last moments and that everyone could see it.

loved it and will be telling everyone to see it.

I liked it when I thought I would hate it. Bit to much day for night like wild country and it was enjoyably predictable.

Good movie but a bit too wicker man for me (which I don't like either).

Great plot
Thanks for the ride, sir.

This was my favourite of the weekend - great acting and a really original idea. Definitely channeled the spirit of The Wicker Man, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I can see the comparison to Wicker Man. Again another one I really enjoyed. What a great actress to play very different personalities. I do like stories about villages with dark secrets. Then come spilling out to reveal the culprits. Very entertaining film.

I just thought it would be worth pointing out that this was Jenn Murray (Dorothy) first film, and I thought she did a fantastic job!
I would rather be hated every damn day of my life for being real than loved for being something I'm not...

A mate of mine worked as script doctor on the script. I had the opportunity to read an early draft. I knew then it was going to be a corker, glad to hear it made the transistion from page to screen. Notch one up for the good guys!!

the girl who played dorothy was amazing- at times she seemed only about 8 years old, five minutes later she could be late 20s!
