As usual Asia and in particular Korea shows how to do an action movie. World War Z definitely had its arse kicked by this one
Re: Train to Busan
Great action film, very good zombie film. Tbh I like a bit more of the red stuff from my zombies but take nothing away from some thrilling sequences. As many a poster has suggested, it made world war z look very plain indeed.
Re: Train to Busan
There's a full-length animated prequel called "Seoul Station"... though it's only just out in Korea, so we may have to wait a while.

A really great film to end the festival on

"Apocalyptic" and "post-apocalyptic" stories are usually too dull and lifeless for me. But this actually had some good characters and was quite funny often.

Re: Train to Busan
Tied best film for me that I saw. Fun, action, suspense and characters you can hate or loath done very well.
Much seems to be made of the ending, all I know is that near me there were lots of hands being thrown up as it appears even the possible prospect of a totally bleak ending would really annoy some people.
