Director: Ridley Scott.
Cast: Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt.
USA/UK 1979. 116 mins.
SEGA SPECIAL PRESENTATION - What better way to celebrate the announce of SEGA’s hugely anticipated ALIEN: ISOLATION 2 game than with a screening of Ridley Scott’s classic sci-fi shocker. This ‘haunted house in space’ horror featured top-notch acting, a star-making performance from astronaut Sigourney Weaver and Swiss Artist HR Giger’s unique and innovative bio-mechanoid creature design. Scott’s eye for detail and brilliant way of alternating false scares with genuine jolts creates a seamless blend of gothic Grand Guignol and harrowing dread. One of the all-time terrifying thrill-rides returns to the big screen where it all began back in 1979.
