“Quite Simply THE best festival of its kind in the world” – Little White Lies

​Our next event is FrightFest Glasgow. This is our annual twelve-film mini-festival, a strand of the Glasgow Film Festival, the largest in Scotland. It's three days of the best brand-new genre films presented in Glasgow’s leading independent cinema, The Glasgow Film Theatre.

Dates for 2024: March 7th, 8th and 9th. Passes (£83) and individual film tickets (£11.80 - concessions £9.50) are available and can be purchased online, over the phone or in person. Passes will be exchanged for admission wristbands, which must be worn at all times to access all FrightFest films on Friday, 8 and Saturday, 9 March. YOU'LL NEVER FIND ME requires a separate individual ticket. Passes are invalid for this film.

Pass booking opens at noon on Friday, 19 January, and individual films open at noon on Monday, 29 January.

Glasgow Film Theatre Cinecard members get four days early access to individual films starting January 26 at noon and discounted tickets for each performance.

The FrightFest strand of the Glasgow Film Festival features horror, fantasy, science fiction and thriller films with an overall 18 rating. Therefore, all films will feature an assortment of the following: supernatural/alien threats, strong language, upsetting scenes, violence, gore, blood, suicide, monstrous menace, tobacco products, creature mayhem, psychological intimidation, sexual imagery, death, child endangerment, maiming, religious profanity, abusive behaviour, bullying, nudity, drug use, strobe lighting and racial stereotyping.
